See eye doctor: Try using a hot moist wash cloth soak over your eyes for 10 minutes before bed and when you wake up. Put over the counter eye lubricant ointment in your eye at bed time. This is called lacrilube (artificial tears) or refresh pm. It will lubricate your eyes and may help until you see the eye doctor.

Blepharitis therapy: Blepharitis is a very treatable problem. Initial treatment includes artificial tears, a bland antibiotic ointment at night, and ocusoft plus lid scrubs twice daily immediately after warm compresses. If symptoms persist, additional therapies may be needed and you should see your eye doctor.
