Several options: Depending on the size, location and symptom/age/medical condition of the patient. Some benefits from observation with repeat mri. Some benefits from special radiation, called stereotactic radiation. Some benefits from surgery. Yet, some needs both surgery and radiation. Depends: The treatment of meningioma depends on the size and location. If the meningioma is very small, usually millimeters and not pressing on any neighboring structures, you may often monitor it closely with imaging. If the meningioma is large and pressing on vital structures or blocking the outflow of cerebral spinal fluid, you may need an operation to remove it. Radiosurgery is also an option.
