50 mg is safe: Doxylamine is an antihistamine that is prescribed for sedation. The usual doseage is 6 to 50 mg at night. Doxylamine is not addictive. Do not use it with other antihistamines or sedatives or alcohol! dry mouth or dizziness is possible; headache would be uncommon.
