Tinnitus: The sound in your ear is called tinnitus. There are some treatable causes. You should see an ENT - ears, nose and throat doctor also known as an otolaryngologist. The noise can be masked somewhat with music and other 'white' noise devices. Please get help right away to minimize your suffering.
