I have a mole on my left arm that feels bruised and the bruised feeling goes all the way around. could this be a sign of skin cancer?

See a doctor: You most likely simply have a bruise in the same area that you have a mole. Please see a doctor to be certain.

Probably not: There are many signs that could suggest that a mole could be cancerous. The usual signs of trouble are increasing size, change in coloration, bleeding, and change in shape. The sensation of "bruising" is not usually a sign of cancer. You should have this looked at by a qualified physician. Good luck!
