If my baby is 4 months old he has been having this weird cough.. it's real dry and short.. he only does it every once in a while... could it be rsv?

Chronic cough in bab: Not usually children with rsvp usually wheeze and have chest retraction. He may have a drippy nose that is causing the cough or an anomaly of the upper airway talk to your pediatrician.

M.D. visit: RSV can cause a variety of illnesses including cold symptoms, wheezing, pneumonia. Nasal congestion is one of the common features of RSV. A short dry cough may be due to reactivity of the airway. Albuterol is a typical treatment. A follow up visit with your pediatrician is advised. A virtual appt can be made online.
