Abnormal period: Your periods can change on a monthly basis, especially if your body didn't ovulate appropriately this month. If the bleeding lasts for longer than ten days or if you go through more than one pad or tamping in an hour, you need to call your gynecologist asap for an appointment or go to the emergency room to be seen.
