Medical abortion ?'s: Medical abortions are sometimes not conclusively successful, and on some occasions, persistent pregnancy may occur, which could occur outside the uterus (ectopic). Obtain a serum HCG test to be certain, and if positive or if bleeding persists, see your gyn for an exam and further treatment.
