If a choking person becomes unconscious, what steps should be taken to secure them assistance?

Heimlich maneuver: If a person is seen choking and then goes unconscious, the rescuer can assume that the victim cannot breathe because of a foreign object blocking the airway. The rescuer can immediately use the heimlich maneuver to pop the foreign object out of the way. Take CPR classes: A little info here would be too dangerous. You need to take a CPR class and they will teach you all you need to know that i can't cover in this space.

911, Heimlich, CPR: If the person is already unconscious, first call 911, then try a heimlich maneuver. If that is unsuccessful, check for a pulse and start cpr. Unless you are a trained medical professional, do not attempt to open an airway of any kind.
