No: H. Pylori is associated with gastritis and gastric ulcers. Gerd is caused by reflux of gastric acid into the esophagus.

Not really: Germ causes gastritis, duodenitis, ulcers, involved with stomach cancer. Does not cause esophagitis. Controversy if treating it i.Creases risk of gerd and esophagitis.
