Milia or white heads: They may be "milia, " which are popularly known as "white heads" - small cysts which form within the walls of hair follicles. Formation of these may be promoted by the application of occlusive ointments or lotions to the skin. If these have not resolved with the use of over-the-counter acne medications, i would suggest seeing a dermatologist.
