When you exercise more and eat healthier, should you expect a reduction in the severity of your pimples?

Maybe: The jury is still out on the effects of various foods on pimples. Recent studies have found that more dairy = more acne. Another study found that diets with a low glycemic load improved acne. Another study found that the presence of steroids in milk increased acne. Bottom line: eating healthy and exercising is good no matter what, but limit dairy, and if you don't limit it, then go organic.

Yes: It will probably have an effect. Newer medical literature shows a clear link between sugar, milk sugar lactose, and simple carbs. There is individual variation with food sensitivity. Oral zinc and niacinamide also help. In addition you can try o/c salicylic acid acne products. If not enough improvement, see dermatologist for prescription meds and/or laser treatment.
