Yes: There is no reason to avoid the flu vaccine in pregnancy.In fact, there is tremendous need for all pregnant women to be vaccinated to prevent flu. We lost 2 pregnant moms to complications of the flu 2 years ago in my city.

Absolutely!: Not only is it safe, but you protect both you and your unborn and soon to be born child. The antibodies you develop will pass to the baby and protect them from influenza now and after birth. Hopefully, flu season won't last that long, but if baby were born early or it does last a long time your baby would have some protection!
