Seborrhea/Psoriasis?: It could be either of these or a combination sometimes called "sebopsoriasis". If you haven't tried it yet, it might be worth trying Nizoral (ketoconazole) shampoo, now available over the counter (otc). This is an anti-fungal shampoo that can sometimes even cure seborrhea if used for at least a month. If this doesn't work, you may have a chronic condition in which case you should see your family doctor.

Agree with Dr. H.!: Dr. Hermann is correct (as usual!). Also avoid over-processing hair and use of multiple products. Skin is irritated by fragrances and aerosols and fabric softeners so use the minimum. Use hypoallergenic products as much as you can.
