how can you help raise a males sperm count?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Khurram Rehman
26 years experience Fertility Medicine
See a Fertility MD: Abnormal semen analysis, such as low sperm count, always needs a 2nd test 1-2 months later for confirmation. Based on how low the count and/or sperm quality tests like motility and morphology are, we may do hormonal or genetic blood work. In some guys tablets or rarely shots can increase count. I recommend seeing a reproductive endocrinologist, and/or a urologist with an interest in male fertility.
