Yes: Especially if the offending tooth is in the upper arch. The swelling associated with an infected tooth can cause regional pain. Plus, the teeth are all connected to the trigeminal nerve...It is one of the cranial nerves (it comes directly out of the brain-not out of the spinal column). There is a lot of 'referred' pain from teeth (pain sent to another location).
