Other way around: A headache can be caused by an infected tooth, but i really don't believe a headache can cause a toothache unless there is generalized facial pain that radiates into the teeth (normally the upper teeth.).

Referred pain: In some circumstances, sinusitis can cause the patient to feel as if they have a toothache, especially on the maxillary posterior teeth. The sinusitis may also be giving you a headache, so there may be a correlation between the two in your case.
