Different cause?: It is possible for someone to get a fever from thrush, but this usually indicates that the yeast has spread beyond her esophagus. Is she having any other new symptoms with her new fever such as runny nose, cough, congestion, vomiting, diarrhea, or new rash? I am wondering if she has developed another infection, such as a common virus. If fevers persist with no new symptoms, call her doc.
