Trauma: What you describe sounds like it may be related more to unusual activity and possible trauma to your tongue. Stds take more than a day to manifest symptoms but they can certainly be acquired and transmitted through unprotected oral sex. Be careful!

Get examined: Any time you have unprotected sex of any sort you put yourself at risk since there is no sure fire way to k ow where your partner has been. I recommend a doctors examination and any appropriate tests that would be prescribed.

Many Things: My first thought is since you are 21, are you using safe sex? Are you in a monogamous relationship? Oral hpv and oral cancer is on the rise. You may have several conditions. The one that comes to mind is "geographic tongue". The rings that you described will actually change locations. I would see your dentist or an ENT to confirm your situation.
