Speak to your MD : Inappropriate sinus tachycardia is not a common condition. To answer your question properly, much more information is needed. While in general success of ablative procedures is good, ranging from 70 to over 90% depending on the condition, individual patient factors play a big role. About 20% of the time there may be a need for a repeat procedure but again, it varies. Speak to your doc asap!

Modest success: "rate control" medications such beta blockers and calcium channel blockers are first line, and there is a new medication called ivabradine which may also be effective. If all above fails, partial ablation of sinus node is a last resort, though recurrences may occur within a year requiring repeat procedures. Overall, about 50-60% effective (with repeat procedures).
