Bruising pattern?: I would get more concerned about low platelets as a cause of your bruising if you started having more bruising in many different areas of your body. Any new nose bleeds or gum bleeding? Low platelets can be caused by many things, leukemia being a rare cause. Some simple screening blood tests can help determine what is going on.
