Cough & wheezing: Cough and wheezing in babies are usually caused by respiratory viruses that don't need antibiotics. A nebulizer treatment can be tried. Some bad viruses like RSV cause cough that persist for a while during recovery. Maybe you need a second opinion on how to treat your baby's condition.

NeedPulmonaryCONSULT: Your Baby either have asthma or bronchiolitis and both of these conditions will not respond to antibiotics as Bronchiolitis is caused by a virus and Asthma is inflammation of Bronchi and needs to be treated differently Discuss with your Pediatrician and needs tobe checked by a Ped Pulmonologist to find the exact diagnosis and treatment
