Blood sugars go up: You can go to the pharmacy and get Insulin without a prescription. Just take some proof that you are an insulin-dependent diabetic and they will give you an "emergency" supply until you can call your doctor and get your prescription updated. Don't run out of Insulin or your other diabetic meds -- you may feel awful when your blood sugars are out of control!
