Not yet: It may take some time to return to normal as the swelling goes down. Take an NSAID such as Ibuprofen (motrin) to alleviate the discomfort and apply warm compresses. If the pain continues longer than a week consider seeing a doctor.

You are OK: Your tympanic membrane is intact as evidenced by normal hearing. Your sore jaw is a bruise and muscle strain. Unlikely that you have brain injury or neck injury. Are your teeth and tongue ok? In the er, we always think " what do I not want to miss" ? All systems are ok, you are ok. Expect to be sore for a couple of days. Obviously seek medical care for bad headache, dizziness...

TMJ: Trauma to TMJ area might cause fracture in the condyle area or hemarthrosis (bleeding in the joint ). The hematoma should go away after two weeks. Meanwhile you should be seen by an specialist and a panoramic radiograph should be taken.
