We've been trying to get pregnant for 8 months. my cycle has increased to 39 days- is this bad? i am getting periods so i am ovulating i guess?

Possibly. : Normal cycles will range between 23-35 days. It is uncommon for cycles longer than 35 days to be ovulatory. Many people have cycles but may not be ovulating. These are more irregular bleeding episodes rather than a "true menses" which would only occur after an ovulation.
