I have ankle edema on both feet, it itches and hurts a little, is anything i can do to get rid of it, i can't excersise or move much being morbidly obese?

Given your diagnosis and age you could be experiencing the beginnings of continue and ongoing swelling of extremities. Elevate legs, move ankle up and down while sitting. Support hose a must. Get a head start on this. Long term edema of your legs is not good. I encourage some type of activity. If you do not use it you will loose it!!! Seek medical help. The difficult part is starting
