A member asked:

I've recently had an ectopic pregnancy. is there a chance to have a healthy and normal pregnancy even if my boyfriend has low sperm as well ?

Yes: Usually if the other fallopian tube is normal and the sperm is reasonable then conception can still occur.

Good chance: You have a good chance to have a normal pregnancy. An ectopic is unfortunate but at least you know you can get pregnant. Even if one tube was removed for the ectopic you still have a good chance.

Yes: There is a good chance you will be able to conceive again and have a full term pregnancy. But, there is a slightly increased risk of your having another ectopic pregnancy, so it is critical that you be followed as closely as possible by your ob-gyn as soon as your pregnancy test is poitive again. Wait at least two regular periods before trying again...Your boyfriend should be seen by a urologist..
