PID: Stds, especially if they were left chronically untreated, can lead to pelvic inflammatory disease; this could be the cause of infertility. Ectopic pregnancy, while it classically does not affect fertility, could conceivably have an effect on the ability of eggs to flow through the fallopian tubes, as well. See your doctor; he may recommend imaging to see if things are moving correctly.

Need evaluation: 90% of all fertility problems are related to ovulation, sperm count, or tubal factors. These need to be evaluated. You are at increased risk for another tubal pregnancy and should be under the care of an obgyn.
