Yes and no: Carrots are a great source of beta carotene, which your body converts into vitamin a. Adequate vitamin a is essential for good night vision. Thus, if you are deficient in vitamin a then carrots will improve your night vision. If you have enough vitamin a then eating carrots will not help you see better in the dark than you already do.
