Referred pain: Internal pain is referred or broadcast to certain parts of the body based on the nerves involved and where they have skin branches. Chest pain can be felt in the jaw, gallbladder pain in the shoulder and lung pain in clavicle. Also many muscles of breathing attach to the clavicle.

Muscle spasm.: It could be muscle spasm. There are a couple of small muscles that attach to the clavicle, that may need to be stretched out. See a physical therapist or athletic trainer, for evaluation.
