Immediately: In theory, a miscarriage is as significant as a very heavy period. The whole cycle resets and restarts, and gets ready for the next round. Assuming that you have no complications, and expel all of the products of conception, your body should resume normal cycling and ovulate in the month following a miscarriage. If not then, it will happen certainly during the month following that one.

See your doc: This is a discussion to have with your OB doc. It will depend on many things, not the least of which is the cause of the miscarriage, your pregnancy history, etc. See your doc before you start trying to get pregnant again.
