Several issues: The white tongue could be from a coating that can be removed with better oral hygiene and a tongue scraper....Or lichen planus, thrush or something else. The bumps may be the normal papillae of the tongue. A sore throat is not normal. I suggest that you consult with an oral surgeon or your physician for a personal evaluation to see exactly what is going on and treatment if indicated.

Geographic tongue: First question, how long has the condition presented? If the answer is greater than two weeks please go to a dental professional now. It could be a condition known as geographic tongue. One of the causes is poor dental hygiene.
