i haven't had my period since august. i went to the doctor and had a blood test and a urine test and they were both negative for pregnancy. ?

Jump start needed: You need a "jump start" for your period if all of your pregnancy tests are negative to both avoid excess stimulation by estrogen with overgrowth of the endometrium and to diagnostically give the MD and you an answer as to why the period has been MIA(missing in action).

Secondary amenorrhea: Pregnancy test are highly sensitive. Doctor could evaluate for other causes of delayed period/2nd amenorrhea.
