Investigate: Determine to what extent there was "full hysterectomy". Historically some hysterectomies would leave a bit of cervix, which still could have issues including bleeding. Would she have been postmenopausal? Also need to determine the site of bleeding, can be from other perineal source including anal fissure or hemorrhoids. Ultimately, needs examination more than conjecture.

Many causes: There could be several causes of post hysterectomy bleeding depending upon your mothers age. There could be residual cervix left, granulation tissue present, a vaginal lesion/growth, or bleeding from atrophic vaginitis due to low estrogen to the vagina. Your mother needs an immediate GYN MD examination as soon as that can be arranged.
