Probably not adrenal: If your adrenals were failing, you would probably feel poorly all the time, and your BP would drop in response to severe stress. Are you at risk for adrenal insult (other autoimmune diseases, previous tb, previous adrenal hemorrhage)? Talk to your doctor. First test would be electrolytes. If necessary, an acth stimulation test could be done.

Cortisol testing: A 4 point salivary cortisol test would be helpful. That's an am, noon, afternoon, and bedtime cortisol levels. Am serum cortisol is sometimes helpful, but may miss early stages od adrenal fatigue.
