Kind and caring: You first need to go to 4 years of medical school, then do 3 years of general pediatric internship and residency, and finally a 3 year fellowship in neonatology. You need to be very kind, caring, and compassionate. Having pretty good hand-eye coordination is a plus because of doing procedures on very tiny babies.
