Sometimes: If the bunionette is painful and you have not had significant improvement with conservative care, surgery may be a good option.

Surgery, inserts.: Unfortunately, there are no braces or exercises to get rid of a tailor's bunion. If you elect to have surgery, there are several ways your surgeon could go about it. Depending on the angle of your bones (you'll need an x-ray), there are many different procedures to choose from to correct your foot. If you would rather, cortisone injections to the joint or orthotics can improve symptoms.

Not always: My question is - does it hurt and does it impact your daily activity? If not, there are conservative treatments that focus on getting rid of the irritation that cause the inflammation at the site. This can be accomplished with topical, oral and injectable medications, orthotics and shoes. See the podiatrist. There is no one solution; everyone's foot is different.
