Yes: Low abdominal pain on the sides that travels to the groin is very common and called round ligament pain. It happens when the support to the uterus stretches and usually gets better with rest. Pains that are not normal: right upper belly pain, abdominal pain with fever, diarrhea, vomiting, or pain that is severe.

Sometimes: Yes- you can have some normal abdominal pain due to stretching of ligaments. I would be worried if the pain however becomes severe- especially in either the upper right side or the lower right side of your abdomen. This kind of pain could be related to gallbladder or appendix problems or ovarian cysts- all of which are possible during pregnancy.
