No medicaitons: No medication is specifically used for bed sores. The treatment is more related to positioning and removal of mechanical stress. If there is an infection this may be treated with antibiotics, but these alone will not heal the wound. Once the forces that led to the wound are reversed then the body, with good nutritional support, can begin to heal the sore.
