Bleeding 6wk preg: Not unusual to have a little bleeding early in a pregnancy. It is important to note the bleeding and report it to your OB doctor soon. If the bleeding become heavy and is accompanied with cramps then you should call your OB and see if you need an examination.

Not necessarily: Many women experience slight bleeding normally early in pregnancy. If the bleeding increases and is followed by cramping or worse the passage of tissue then a miscarriage is in the offing.
