Depends: Spondylitis is a big term when just used by itself. You really do not treat the "spondylitis" itself, but the cause of the spondylitis. This can just mean "bone spurs" or it can be an auto-immune rheumatoid type condition. I really cannot answer your question without knowing what type of spondylitis it is, were it is occuring, and symptoms it is causing. Sorry.
