Yes: We often prefr to do this because we can help keep the tissue from regrowing over the edga. After adequate healing, possibly 8 weeks, the tooth is reprepared and the final impression is made.

Permanent CEREC : You can even have a permanent cerec crown done as well on the same appointment.

Yes. That sequence: Of treatment would be routine in my office. I use cerec single visit crowns as well and the final crown could also be completed in the same appt as well. However, crown lengthening might need to heal and resolve before the final crown is designed and delivered. Depends on your specific situation.

Yes, recommended: If it is possible to perform a post and core buildup immediately and a temporary post and crown are necessary for esthetic reasons and tissue healing.
