No: Invisalign is the leading clear aligner therapy in orthodontics but some patients' teeth are not suited for invisalign because of a variety of reasons such as: 1) too much crowding, 2) skeletal issues, or 3) because some patients will not be compliant about wearing their invisalign aligners. If you are really opposed to wearing traditional orthodontic braces, you could consider lingual braces.

Most cases yes: I have even using invisalign for many very severe cases. There ha almost been no orthodontic problem we could not use it for to correct. The more experience with invisalign the more likely the doctor can help you with your problem.

Consultations: I am neither an orthodontist nor do I use invisalign and therefore think i can give you an unbiased opinion. I have spoken to many top notch orthodontists regarding the answer to your question. This is my personal opinion- invisalign is an excellent method and terrific for many patients. There are some limitations. Consult with a few dentists, including an orthodontist who uses both methods.

Invisalign : The answer is no. If there is a skeletal issue or a major movement, traditional orthodontics is the only way to align the teeth. The invisalign center (i believe in california) does not see the patient's face.

Yes : To send a case to invisalign, not only does the x-ray or cat scan need to be sent but also 7 or 8 pictures as well so the patients profile, face and bite can all be visualized. Invisalign does see you.

Depends on each case: The only way to determine if clear aligner treatment is for you is to make an appointment for an examination with a licensed orthodontic specialist. Everyone's orthodontic needs and requirements are different. Invisalign can certainly be used to treat a wide range of problems.

No: Invisalign is a good alternative treatment for tooth movement. It is best used to treat gaps or diastema closure. It is not effective when there is more than 30 degree rotation, uneven occlusal plane, and cases require molar uprighting. I used them extensively when trying to lingualize the lower anterior to treat thet end to end cases. With the advance of 3d printer, aligner is better now.

No: some cases are too severe to see good results with invisalign

Limitations: Clear aligners have considerably less applicability than fixed braces. The more severe the malocclusion, the less clear aligners can do. Know that in the best of circumstances, with treatment being done by a fully qualified Orthodontic Specialist, patients in braces have >90% correct, in clear aligners
