Restoring cavities : Composite resin fillings are one type of material that can be used to restore a tooth once dental decay has been removed and the tooth has been prepared by the dentist. The advantages of composite resin fillings are esthetics (tooth colored) and they can be less invasive in terms of tooth preparation. Please discuss the advantages and disadvantages of restorative options prior to treatment.

Restore teeth : While not a perfect restorative material yet, composite fillings can be bonded to tooth structure after decay removal to recreate the missing diseased tooth. This recreates the functionality of the teeth and provides some additional strength thru the bonding process. And because composite fillings come in a large variety of tooth shades, these fillings are esthetic, too!
