Depends: Left arm or left chest discomfort may be heart related. Your symptoms are very atypical and likely non cardiac. Mabey a muscle spasm and or pinched nerve. Try heat along with alleve or some other NSAID . If no better after a few days see your dr for a full history and an exam.
