Possible arthritis: One of the most common reasons for continued pain after arthroscopic surgery is related to preexisting arthritis which typically is not able to be treated with arthroscopy. It is possible the arthritis may have been contributing to more of your pre surgery pain then initially thought. Discuss your symptoms and findings at the time of surgery with your surgeon.
