Probably GERD: Gerd is commonly known as indigestion or reflux disease and is caused by acid getting into the esophagus. There are some dietary changes one can make as well as trial of over the counter meds like Famotidine or ranitidine. For severe cases, Prilosec otc is available. If they work, it is likely gerd, but you should still see your doctor to be sure it is nothing else.
