My midwife has told me babys head is 3/5 down what does that mean?

Preparing to deliver: The midwife is more than likely referring to the baby's head dropping further down int o the pelvis in preparation for delivery. The baby has "dropped". There are measurements done by feel by experienced deliverers that lets them know how high or low the baby is in the pelvis and can help predict how the delivery will go. Much more to this, but this is the simple answer.
