I have muscle strain in my hand how long will it take for to heal and how can i make the pain stop?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

An uncomplicated hand strain would heal after a week or so of avoiding further strain. Treatment consists of cold applications 20 minutes several times a day for 48 hours & then switch to alternating hot and cold applications. Wrap with ACE bandage helps. Taking anti-inflammatory meds like ibuprofen or naproxen for more pain relief. See MD or orthopedic specialist or hand specialist as needed.
