Better asthma contro: Exercise is a very common trigger of asthma and sometimes despite taking albuterol before a work out, this is not enough to prevent symptoms. Checking peak flows before and after a work out may assist in determining if this is asthma or another condition. The pain/discomfort will likely persist unless the underlying cause is treated.

Uncontrolled asthma: It is likely that your asthma is not adequately controlled, causing you to have symptoms when you are running. Please see a lung specialist for full assessment of your lung function to find out if your symptoms are due to exercise induced asthma or other causes.
